  4. Welcome to the third (and maybe last) release of the famous Gameboy-Emulator
  5. for the Acorn Archimedes/RiscPC!!

  8. new features/improvements:

  10. + much faster sprite-emulation
  11. + loads smartcard modules now
  12. + full sound support
  13. + more Gameboy-clockcycles per frame (some games like that),
  14.   so the emulator runs a bit slower :-( ... but it's still faster
  15.   than version 0.35 .... :-))

  18. getting started:
  19. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  20. Just give those images the right filetype (Gameboy-&0D7) and double-click it
  21. or start the emulator and drop the ROM-image onto the iconbar!

  23. You'll need at least an ARM3 or higher to have really fun with it.

  27. cursor keys: UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT
  28. a          : A
  29. s          : B
  30. return     : SELECT

  33. <F1>: slow down your machine by waiting for VSync after every screen-refresh
  34.       (if your machine is to fast...) - MODE 1 / 60Hz recommended
  35. <F3>: fullscreen-mode on/off
  36. <F5>: reset
  37. <F7>: sound on/off

  39. limits:

  41. - programmable timer-interrupt
  42.   (this version only generates one timer-interrupt per frame, so that
  43.   a module that uses the timer doesn't stop)
  44. - serial I/O
  45. - backup-RAM (MBC2) & battery-functions
